Push the Sky Away Review: First Paragraph

Nick Cave has nothing left to prove: Cave, a permanent, blackened fixture upon the very firmament of modern music’s fast-fleeting sky-scape, has managed to revolve around our sordid blue planet for over three decades now, all the while proving himself immortal. Cave’s distinct, rabid pedigree of shining star, a star which becomes oppressively carnate in his peculiar breed of rhythmic, daunting poetic, will never collide with our earth-bound oceans nor the mountains that frame them; instead, Cave’s songs are destined to hover eternally– weightless, sacred additions to our budding collective consciousness as they push the claustrophobic blue sky away an inch at a time. Blessed be Nick Cave. Blessed be Nick Cave.
